nebula necklace, iridescent beaded necklace, purple and green, amethyst and peridot-- handmade by thebeadedlily

Reminiscent of space photos, the Nebula Necklace is a bit different from thebeadedlily's earth-inspired pieces because it was inspired by space.

I fell in love with these greenish-yellow trade beads at first sight. They were produced in Europe circa 1915 for trade purposes.

I picked up shades of green with peridot chips and turquoise and the went darker with lapis blue and amethyst purple. On the other end of the spectrum, the glass daggers flash green/yellow/orange/pink/purple.

This pretty piece is just begging to be worn to a party!
